East Village Loft |
As a loft located in a former industrial building, this private residence for two scientists benefitted from abundant natural light, high ceilings and large windows. The residence presented the challenge of how to utilize its exceptional height without detracting from its openness. Loci’s solution was a sweeping platform floating above the main level. This approach increased the amount of living space without diminishing the home’s unique character. |
