Gowanus Atlas |
Gowanus Atlas was created by Loci in partnership with Gowanus by Design, a non-profit started by David Briggs to advocate for a community that is guided by principles of sustainability, contextual planning, diversity, and inclusion. The Atlas gives residents, business owners, organizations, activists, developers, and agencies access to quantitative and qualitative mapped data about the Gowanus Canal's watershed and its rapidly changing conditions, challenges, and community. The customized maps show how residents and their stories are directly impacted by global warming, infrastructure, land use, and the social landscape. |
