Loci conducted a facilities study and filed for 1 Pace Plaza’s first Certificate of Occupancy and 14 Public Assembly permits. We evaluated the entire 500,000 sf complex and met with agency officials to develop a phased ten-year strategy for bringing the building into full compliance with NYC DOB and FDNY requirements. In 2016, we renovated two research classrooms, two teaching classrooms, and the corridor serving them. We custom designed the $1.7 million project with new casework and shelving, fume hoods, sinks, natural gas, and other equipment. |
