Williamsburg Charter High School Athletic Facility |
| WCHS acquired a neighboring 7,000 sf warehouse and enlisted Loci to create a state-of-the-art athletic facility that will elevate their physical education offerings. The new space will be home to a full-sized gym, an exercise area, classrooms, and offices to cater to their high school students. We navigated the city's special permit process required for schools in manufacturing districts, working closely with WCHS's leadership and zoning counsel. Our efforts included presentations to the local community board and the NYC Board of Standards and Appeals, all of whom warmly embraced our proposal. Construction is set to commence in Spring 2024. |
